Sci-Meet is brought to you by bitOK - a brand of the company Gazelle Code Lda. We started our activity in November 2006 under the name Alojamentovivo - initially directed to web hosting and web design.

Our organic growth has deviated us from our original mission, and it is currently focused on providing practical and innovative solutions to support academics and associations in their endeavours to communicate and disseminate results of their projects and research. We are therefore fermented by our long experience as professional conference organisers and scientific software developers.

With this know-how we realised that academia needed an improved conference management tool and developed Sci-Meet in 2019 harvesting all of our knowledge, expertise and client feedback to create a comprehensive and user-friendly platform.

Our mission is to contribute to the success and promotion of science, through the development of working tools adapted to specific needs.
