Sci-Meet is a product by bitOK, a brand of Gazelle Code Lda. We started our activity in November 2006 under the name Alojamentovivo, initially focused on web hosting and web design.

Over time, our organic growth naturally led us to evolve from our original mission towards the development of more specialized solutions for academia and scientific associations, focusing on the management and dissemination of scientific activities. bitOK is therefore a team with consolidated experience in conference organization and scientific software development.

Based on this know-how, we identified the need for a simpler, more flexible and more efficient conference management tool. In September 2019 we launched Sci-Meet, bringing together our knowledge, accumulated experience and client feedback.

Since its launch, we have continued to actively develop the platform, rebuilding and improving its core architecture while continuously adding new features. Over this period, Sci-Meet has earned the trust of several institutions, including universities and scientific societies.

Our mission is to contribute to the success and promotion of science through the development of productivity tools adapted to the needs of the academic and scientific community.
